April is National Poetry Month.
There is a program similiar to National Blog Posting Month where the idea is to post a poem on your blog everyday during the month.
If you decide to take part in NaPoWriMo then head on over to Read Write Poem to find support and other poetry bloggers who are taking part.

thank you so much for making me a featured poet of the week!
Thanks, Womanwriter!
sara, i am not formally doing NaPoWriMo this year,, but i am sure i write more than 30 poems a month,, as do many of us… i am here to offer a suggestion to those of you that are taking part.. i was introduced just this week to a really quality prompt site called easystreet prompts
… and in the event you feel a lack of inspiration they have over 100 excellent visual and multiple word prompts to re-ignite your fire… please do yourself a favor and check it out.. if you do use a prompt,, please let the author know by way of a comment and link back,, i really do not want them to think no one is enjoying the amazing work they are doing…. i also left this same message on RWP,, but i am wondering if you could make note of this site on PWB so that we can get the word out on this very excellent prompt site.
