Day Eleven of NPM Project

I've been loving this chance to link to poetry everyday. Thank you to everyone who is taking the time to check out the poems submitted. Everytime you leave a comment you help to encourage the spread of poetry across the blogosphere and into the world.

Today we feature the work of southern poet Mark Folse.

Click here to read Consider the Crocus by Mark Folse.

Mark Folse writes poetry and posts to his blog Toulouse Street-Odd Bits of Life in New Orleans. A former journalist turned political speechwriter, computer system analyst and project manager, he returned to writing poetry and prose in response to the tragedy of the Federal Flood and to chronicle the rebirth of his city.He will shortly publish a collection of his prose from his (retired) blog on Katrina and New Orleans, Wet Bank Guide.

Thank you, Mark, for sharing your work with PWB.
