Mark Folse writes poetry and posts to his blog Toulouse Street-Odd Bits of Life in New Orleans. A former journalist turned political speechwriter, computer system analyst and project manager, he returned to writing poetry and prose in response to the tragedy of the Federal Flood and to chronicle the rebirth of his city.He will shortly publish a collection of his prose from his (retired) blog on Katrina and New Orleans, Wet Bank Guide.

Hi, Sara, I'm back from visiting Mark Folse's site and I will be returning again soon. I thoroughly enjoyed his crocus piece. This poem purrs..:)
