Fade to Sorrow by PWB poets

Wilting beneath the moonlight
after another day has died,

the rose of unplucked morrows
now lost to the wreathless tide.

Night hides my complexion from the masses.
Terrible scars make others shudder.


My doom to wander, faceless,
the wretched roads of temptation.


I trudge these rocky spaces,
presence begging for absolution.


Once fair, now rendered graceless.

Torn raw, no resolution.

Ringing of the Bards

First Collage Poem

Another cheap paperback novel
banging in your head, head, head.

Tantalizing mental tastebuds,
a quill dipped in air and air my friend


it’s a sanctuary where she conceals
this collapse, this missing phrase.

Like plague on mankind,
reality interferes with all
dreams.

Limerick Winners

The results are in for Mad Kane's Humor Blog Limerick Contest. More than sixty poets took part. I think it was fantastic of Madeleine Begun Kane to host this contest.

Meet Anna Williams

This poet links here, find her work in the sidebar under Free Poems. Anna Williams lists her poems on her blog by what age she was when she wrote it. That allows the reader to feel like they are accompanying her on her journey from childhood to teenager to womanhood.



Her latest poem, There are Men , touched my soul. I loved the way it flowed. The piece is inspirational for dream seekers and those you admire the ones who are brave, bold, and unselfish in this world.

Collage Poem

One of our poets who links here recently did a blog carnival. She went above and beyond the call of duty by arranging the entries into a collage poem.
