Gonzo Poetry Slam Poets

Poetry is an art where, if you ask me, there can be no line that is wrong. The words fall in such a way that they express a piece of the poet’s heart, soul, mind and beliefs. Whatever order they come in they are beauty, they are miraculous, they are poetry.

Below you will find twenty-five poets who would love it if you took the time to stop by their blog and comment on their creations. Please enjoy the work of :

In the spirit of meeting new bloggers and getting exposure for as many blogs as possible, this site will be hosting a Poetry Carnival.

I will list all of these links on February 26th. The deadline to submit is February 23rd.

The Rules:

1. Submit one post from your poetry blog.

2. The poem must be in English.

3. Send your submissions to IlovetowriteSMP@yahoo.com

Each post should include:

The name of your blog.
Your blog's URL.
The name of the post and it's corresponding URL.
Your screen name.

This idea was suggested by Kilroy at Fear and Loathing

Meet Sharanya Manivannan

Emotionally vivid and unflinchingly brave this Indian poet has captured the attention of readers and reviewers alike with her work. Not only does she inspire others with the words she puts on paper but she also has conducted a poetry workshop for children between 7 and 12 years old. By reaching out in that way she may spread the love of poetry to young people and turn the eyes of the younger generation to this creative art we love.

Find out more about her by visiting http://sharanyamanivannan.blogspot.com/

To read her poetry visit

In closing, I would like to thank Amerie for suggesting that I take notice of this talented woman’s work. Sharanya Manivannan is a poet worth spreading the word about. Poets Who Blog is only made more rich by the suggestions of our readers.

Do you know I poet whose work I should highlight?

Meet CrimsonFlaw

When you read the work of this talented poet you find yourself engulfed in a different time and place, almost as if by taking in his words you are transported to a world of his own creation, unlike any ever visited before. Utterly unique and engaging his poems enchant and entrance in equal measure.
